Jools Tinsley, a 62-year-old retiree from Caister near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, won £885.71 on the free online lottery, Pick My Postcode!

Jools, who has lived in Norfolk for the majority of her life, is retired from local government and now runs an Etsy shop, creating handmade crafts. Jools first joined Pick My Postcode in 2015, and finally after years of checking daily and building her bonus through surveys, her postcode was picked on the Main draw, winning her an amazing £885.71, completely for free.
When asked how it felt to win, Jools said: “It’s awesome. It will allow us to treat our close family.” Jools said the win was a particularly welcome surprise after what had been a difficult day. She planned to go to bed early after she’d had treatment that day on a retinal tear, she decided to check her emails, and after seeing her daily email reminder was shocked to log in and see that she had in fact won the main draw. When asked how she planned to spend the winnings, Jools said: “We’d already decided to go camping together so as well as covering the pitch costs we’ll look after the cost for everything.”
The site offers multiple opportunities for your postcode to be picked every single day. Pick My Postcode has 6,369 active members in Norfolk and since 2011, the residents have won a total of £63,308.07. Jool’s win proves that checking Pick My Postcode takes only seconds but could make a huge difference. Join thousands of members who check daily and start growing your own bonus today!

Shouldn't have been out today but had banking to do, prescriptions to collect, and new pans ordered online needed picking up today, so called in at B&M managed to get 6 x 500g tubs of Lurpak for £1 each instead of £4.25. Didn't feel very well as I'm not 100% yet but a bargain like that always bucks me up a bit. Also found out the seller of the new property I bought has sent me £100, that's added to the £180 I got from my own solicitor, so a good start, and that's without any legal claims yet, which despite those payments, are still valid. The money from my own solicitor was only due to me arguing the fact that he said I was unlikely to get anything from the seller. After my reply he realised I knew the law as well as he did, if not better, and the next thing he emails me to say I'm refunding £180 due to the fact that there were things I didn't need to do. It's always best to use a solicitor in any financial dealings....but even better to know more than they do, otherwise they think they can get away with all sorts.

"It was just another Tuesday" for A Nick Name.
Well done, but you can keep the Lurpak, I prefer something softer.

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

@A Nick Name - That wouldn't work these days. Everyone's got their noses buried in their phones, with earbuds in so they don't hear you either...

When I'm out I always find the immovable object is the one shattered by the unstoppable force. When I was younger I used to walk very fast, and trying to get through our local market town was difficult as people would just stop in the middle of the pavement to chat instead of to one side, so as fast as I walked I'd speed up even more and it was like the parting of the Red Sea. If I thought someone wouldn't see me I'd cough loudly, they'd look and dive for cover as I wasn't stopping. I'm always polite, friendly and helpful, but don't put up with people who've no consideration for anyone else.

The unstoppable force shatters into bits, & they continue on other paths, missing the immovable object in future?

Nothing happens because both items cannot exist at the same time (or so I was told at school)

I've been having a go at the Mine Sweeper game, but it keeps freezing up. Has anyone else played it and had this problem?

Thank you Poppy. I have just tested it and on a laptop you can switch between flags and the spade without any issue, so it must be an issue for smaller screens. I will pass this on to the Game Provider. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for testing it Em. Yes, that's what happened to me. I did get to play about 3 or 4 games right to the end. Also, a few times it froze earlier so I couldn't press the start button.
I'm using an android phone, Nokia G42 on Chrome.

I just tested it. The spade clearing spaces worked and then I put flags where I thought the mines would be. When I went to switch back to spade, it then froze on me. Is this what happened for you?
Please describe it and let me know your device make & model and browser. Then I can pass it on to the Game Provider, along with my own Android phone details & the fact that I was using Chrome.
I'll test it on my work laptop during office hours.
