Welcome to the web’s biggest free daily lottery! I created Pick My Postcode a few years ago and I had no idea I would be giving over away to total strangers, but that’s the internet for you!
Watch me explain everything below

Our main daily prize starts at £200 (unless it’s a rollover of course), but we also have lots of other opportunities to win on: The Video Draw, The Survey Draw and The Stackpot where lots of members win £10 prizes twice a day.
Today, potential winners can claim a total prize pot of . The next draw is at , but why not have a look around while you’re waiting and get acquainted with our FAQ’s.
Top up your winnings with our Bonus system
Your Bonus is an additional pot of money that we add to your winnings. You can build this up as you continue to visit the site, take up our sponsored’ offers, complete market research surveys and help us grow by sharing your personal referral link below. We aim to give away tens of thousands of pounds every day for free one day. So please get sharing, but most of all, good luck! 🙂

Is anyone else finding the banner adverts at the bottom really annoying. I go to select the next draw and at that precise moment it pops up and takes me away from the site. When I try to get back I have to go through my email and it just hangs. I’m going to give up if it continues

If this happens just tap the bars at top right of the screen and gives you each game there

If it doesn't have an x and you know how to take a screenshot, please take one and share it with us. Then we can pass the report to the company who helps us to fill the ads.

That’s the one that keeps getting me. I shall try turning my phone to see if that helps but it just seems to screw up my phone if I click it. I can’t see an x anywhere. Thanks Tcb for your help though

Agreed, sometimes, no matter how careful you think you are pressing the 'X' it pops up to annoy. The Kangaroo one is my current bugbear.
Em

We only make the ads about Win A Dinner & Snip, our own sites. The rest are just ad spaces which we rent out to Google ads.
They all have an x in the corner and only take a second to close. They will fill the page if you touch them outside of the x. Just make sure that you don’t scroll too quickly and accidentally hit it, then you will be able to react to the ad when it comes up by closing it, instead of accidentally swiping on it. Turning your device to landscape should expand the ad and make clicking the x easier.
Some of these bottom banner ads have a bit of movement or animation where they bring themselves to the person’s attention by filling half of the screen and then shrinking back down. But that is separate to a full on pop up.
The ad stays at the bottom of a hand held device, not static on a section of our site. You can continue to scroll and see what was under the ad. The page moves separately to the ad.
Our draw boxes have red buttons in them which enable you to navigate between the pages. The Main Draw box has a red button which says “Check survey draw”. The Survey Draw’s button then says “Check video draw” etc. So there are other ways to move around the site.
There should not be full pop up ads on our site. If it is not one which shrinks to a banner or bar size, or if it doesn’t have an x to close it, please take a screenshot and email us – admin@pickmypostcode.com

Those ads have an X top right which you click on to get rid of. To go to the next draw, just use the red tab below the postcode to select them. No need to go to the foot of the page to do so.

Since I got the upgrade I notice on the survey draw the page doesn’t automatically scroll back up to the top of the page to see the postcode as it used to do on the old site. Maybe just me?

I have just tested this myself. I scrolled down so that the postcode oval was not on my screen, answered a survey and when I had finished & submitted, it scrolled me back up and I saw the winning postcode. So it's not an across the board thing.
Could you please let me know your device make & model and which browser that you use? I've put this point on the Snag list, but it could be a compatibility issue with either a particular device or browser, so I need to flesh it out with some details please. Thank you.

I find the ads preceding a video last for much longer than the second countdown timer, then often the ad gets stuck at the end and doesn’t move on to play the video, though it will normally reveal the postcode
Chocolate Spaniel

Hav you tried the suggestions in this from the FAQ?
https://help.pickmypostcode.com/article/80-im-having-issues-with-the-video-draw-how-can-i-fix-it
The "Video issues?" link underneath the draw has been updated so that clicking/tapping on it will reveal the postcode. (There will be a roughly 10 second wait after it has been clicked/tapped.) There is also an error message which includes a 'show postcode' button.
The video draw page is the best place to check for responses.

Damned liner is swelling up in the bottom of the pond because the water has got in behind it. It goes down when the grounds dries outa bit, but at the moment it looks like a baby whale is taking up half the space at one end. I shall be ordering the new pond filter next week, then have to start saving for the liner to be replaced. I was told ‘roughly £6,000-£10,000’ by one pond specialist, because it means taking off all the Portland stone from round the sides, including the stream and top pond, by the waterfall, then rehousing the fish temporarily, draining and emptying it, new sand base all through, then liner (or liner, then sand - not sure which) then a new liner (approx £2k) then reinstate everything. Oh joy.

Yes, we’re all fine, thanks. We’re on high ground, so although Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Lymington etc are all flooded, we just have soggy heathland and woods - it’s not too bad at all, although Indi put the brakes on when I told her we were going for a walk this morning. ‘I think not’ she said firmly and point blank refused to go out in the rain, even with her coat on (I only put it on for my sake, so there’s less wet dog to dry, not because she needs it.).

Jen2002, I use paypal all the time - it is perfectly safe to link your bank account if you have secure passwords. You just need to log into your paypal account and choose the option to withdraw money from your account, it will come up with a message, just pick instantly (free) and it will go into your bank account the same day. Alternatively, buy something from a retailer that accepts paypal (loads do now) and pick the paypal option to pay with the credit on your account.
