This year has been less than great for many small businesses and here at PMP we wanted to try and help some of your favourite independent retailers gain some new regulars and give you guys the chance to shop small this Christmas. First stop… Bristol!
Doing this UK-wide is a big task, so we thought we’d choose a city to pilot the idea first. Why Bristol? In February this year we moved our main office from London to Bristol, but were forced to vacate a month or so later as the pandemic struck. Our large multi-national landlord, whom I won’t name (rhymes with “egregious”), are still collecting our rent IN FULL…
Also, Bristol is the home-town of our our Founder Chris’ family and his former (and probably future) home.
We asked Bristolian PMPers to name their favourite indie shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and retailers on our Survey Draw and they did not disappoint! From Ballet shoes to sausage rolls, Bristol has a whole host of fantastic independent retailers and we had recommendations in their hundreds so we decided to plot them onto a map!
We also meticulously picked out those who had been recommended more than once and we’ve decided to showcase them right here on PMP:
