Nottingham housewife wins over £800 on the Mini Draw

by May | Community, Local, News, Social Media, Winner feedback

Sylvia Ross, a housewife from Nottingham won £814.02 on the mini draw!

The mini draw is a sneaky draw visible at the bottom of any page on the site between 6pm and 2am. The prize is £100 and doesn’t roll over, and only one person registered with the winning postcode can claim so it’s first-come-first-served. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount. In Sylvia’s case, she had been building an amazing bonus over the years that meant she walked away with over £800.

But Sylvia isn’t the only lucky Nottingham resident. Pick My Postcode CEO, Chris Holbrook recently headed up to Nottingham and gave away money hidden in fake parking tickets. See how the people of Nottingham reacted to receiving free money!

The 60-year-old has been a member for over 7 years and checks all of the draws every day. Sylvia has been lucky enough to have a previous win of £5 on Pick My Postcode back in 2017.

When asked, she said: “I was in total shock when my postcode came up, couldn’t quite take it in. But very pleased when it did finally sink in.

Winning this money will help with Christmas and paying general bills.”

When asked what she would say to those losing hope of a win, she said: “To everyone else, I would just say keep checking because the next draw could be you.

We have 9,092 active members living in Nottinghamshire and since 2017, the residents have won a total of £27,561.49.

So congratulations Sylvia and any of the lucky Nottingham residents that Chris gave away money to recently!

Good luck in future draws 🙂
