This month we’ve bumped up the amount of Bonus you can earn from new referrals from 20p to £1, meaning you can earn a massive £1,000 from people that you introduce to PMP this month! Picture that on the Bonus Leaderboard! Or a £10 Stackpot win + £1,000!
We’ve shrunk by nearly a third since we put the Main Draw up to £500 per day last year, thanks to well-documented GDPR and legal woes. But we’re growing again, and we need your help to get us back to where we were, and beyond. We currently have 2.9% of the UK population entered. There’s no reason that can’t be 50% with tens of thousands of pounds worth of prizes.
Get started quickly and easily
OK, you’ve got until the end of August, so don’t panic. Referring works best over time though so the sooner you get sharing, the better. Last week we introduced the “Refer a friend” floating widget – like the one here. Click on that (the real one – look down and left) and it gives you options to share your referral link to Facebook or Twitter or to open an email containing the link with some suggested (but editable) text.
Oh? You have a website of your own?
You’re having tea with the boss of Mumsnet? Great! On your widget ^ you’ll see your referral link as text next to a blue button to copy it. Put this wherever you can on the internet along with a description of how PMP works (and how great we are) and watch the referrals roll in.
You can keep track of your referrals on the bottom of the Overview section of your Account page, as well as the “Refer a friend” widget and the Referrals page.
Not all referrals are equal
The amount of Bonus you earn per referral increases as their own Bonus increases, up to £1. Why? Because otherwise, unscrupulous people (not you) would just set up loads of dummy accounts and game the system. As your genuine referrals build up their Bonus over time by visiting us, or quickly by completing Bonus Offers, you will be getting closer to your maximum £1,000. So, if you can, try to educate your referrals about Bonus building. Your total referral bonus is calculated by adding the 1,000 referrals with the highest bonus, so if you’re already at the 1,000 referral limit you can replace the 20p referrals with £1 referrals.
But people will think I’m crazy!
We know how hard it is convincing people that PMP is “Too good to be true… but actually true”, so here’s some persuasive lines to use:
Over £700,000 has been won so far, for FREE, since it started in 2011.
Like most of the internet, Pick My Postcode is funded by advertising.
The “catch” is that you need to check the site daily. This creates ad revenue.
The prizes are relatively small and increase as they can afford them to.

OK. This is quite Salesy and LOUD! What happened to softly-softly, slightly sarcastic PMP? Well, we’re really excited about this because we think it will go crazy.
