Avoid Miss-anger with Messenger

(Cringe). Emails are unreliable. Sometimes your daily alert emails arrive late, not at all, or in the wrong tab or folder. We’re trialling a chat-based alternative using Facebook Messenger to help make it easier to check PMP each day and avoid a missed win.

PMP Messenger daily draw alerts

This option has actually been available for a little while on the “My account” page and is offered to members who return after a long absence despite us sending the daily emails.

Here are the drawbacks:

  • It doesn’t currently sign you in automatically, so you may have to manually sign in once in a while.
  • You’ll receive occasional “promotional” messages from us, when we’ve found something that we think you’ll like and we think will make us some money (a replacement for the offer at the top of the daily emails).
  • Messenger is owned by and requires you to be on Facebook. They’re a little unfashionable at the moment…

But the benefits are:

  • You will receive your alert reliably, shortly after midday, as a notification on your device (as long as you have allowed notifications from Facebook Messenger).
  • You’ll receive occasional “promotional” messages from us, when we’ve found something that we think you’ll like and we think will make us some money.
  • You’ll have a less cluttered email inbox.
  • There is an option to delay the reminder for 3 hours, if you’re too busy to check.
  • You can stop them super easily by replying “STOP”.

As it’s a “trial” we wouldn’t recommend unsubscribing from your daily alert emails just yet. Also, please note… Relying on other companies’ systems, we can never guarantee 100% successful delivery, so cannot honour missed claims if, for whatever reason, you don’t receive your daily alert.

Otherwise, hope you like it. Do feel free to share your opinion.
