  • Merry Christmas to everyone.

  • Wishing everyone peace and happiness today and everyday

  • All I want for Christmas is my late wife who passed away on 6th May 2019 as I’m entirely lost,Devastated and lonely as I’m completely alone, no pets

    • When you lose your lifelong partner it leaves a huge gap in your life, and men often seem to cope less easily. I don't know what age you are, and your state of mobility, but try to get out as much as possible, if you can. There are groups like U3A that welcome you in and have interest groups of various kinds. Is there a 'Men's' Shed' in your area where you can tinker about with hobbies? There are lots of bereavement groups, or the Samaritans, where you can talk to someone about your grief. I lost my husband 8 years ago, and found it very hard, but I have been a choir member for many years and singing and the support of my choir friends got me through. The husband of one of my friends died 2 years ago, and she has been bereft. They did everything together and she just didn't know how to cope. With encouragement she has gradually got involved in various activities and is finding ways to manage life on her own.

Please don't sit alone and grieve. Brooding about your loss only makes it worse. Please try to get out and involve yourself in things that will take your mind off your loss. Perhaps helping other people in some way would also help you. Only you can decide when it's time to move on, and perhaps bereavement counselling would help you. Christmas, birthdays and special anniversaries are always a bad time for anyone who has lost a loved one. I hope that you soon can begin to cope with the loss of your dear wife, and find some joy in your life again. I'm sure that's what she would want for you. Best wishes to you, and anyone grieving. Brenda x

    • Dear Steve.. just so sorry for the heartache you,ve been going through these past few years. Do you have any family members at all who could maybe help you in any way?.. A dear friend lost his wife just last year 29th December & me & my husband have seen how he has tried to cope... nothing anyone can say will ease your pain but maybe just try & think of what your dear wife would want you to be doing now.. (think back on your wee times chatting together.. surely she wouldn,t want you to feel so broken).. Will keep you especially in my thoughts & prayers

  • What is going on all these people talking rubbish

    • Don,t know who you are or what you,ve read earlier 'Lulubaby' about the 'rubbish stuff' ..but I,ve just picked up on this site & seems like some people just need to be heard & to let someone out there anonymously listen to their thoughts & heartaches.

Hope & pray you will maybe be able to reach out & share your time in trouble..
