Durham Resident Spends his £600 Win on Local Wellbeing Project

by May | Charity, Community, Good Deeds, Winner feedback

Last Week, Richard from Durham won £600.64 on the Main Draw.

Richard, a Complementary Educator who works to help support students won £600 last week after the Main Draw had rolled over twice. He hadn’t been playing for long, and alongside occasional checking he gained a bonus of 64p. He said he was “somewhat shocked” to have seen his postcode appear as “I originally thought it was a “too good to be true” scam (honestly!) – but here I am, with the money sitting in my bank account.  It’s definitely real!”

In his spare time, Richard is the Chair of his local Residents’ Association, where he decided to put a portion of his winnings towards their local Wellbeing Project.
The Gilesgate and Belmont Wellbeing Project supports vulnerable residents in his area who are struggling through the cost of living crisis. He hopes that his donation will mean that we will be able to add some “festive” fresh protein on top of all of the food support boxes they’re providing over the Christmas period, so that the most needy in the community can have something nice for their Christmas Dinner.

The site offers multiple opportunities for your postcode to be picked every single day, so check the results for postcode lottery winners in your area.

Congratulations Richard! I’m sure your donation will go great lengths to helping others this Christmas, and we hope the little you saved for yourself will be well spent too. Good luck to everyone else, hopefully a win will come your way soon.
