Two years ago we launched Tariff Team to give FPLers some power over those pesky energy suppliers. Since then 3,689 of you saved a total of £950,839.63, but we’re saying goodbye with one last collective switching deal.
The exclusive deal we’ve secured is from SSE and gives an estimated average saving of £246* over the year. Here are the details:
- Prices are fixed for 1 year
- It’s cheaper than any other tariff currently available from a major supplier
- SSE have a 5-star service rating*
- Available to existing SSE customers as well as new ones
- Not available direct with SSE
Switching couldn’t be easier, it only takes a few minutes to see how much you could save. You can compare the tariffs offered by any one of the 35 suppliers and you don’t need to switch to the exclusive deal if you prefer another. If you’re not too bothered about switching to a well-known supplier, then there are some great new entrants to the market challenging the norm. Here are some of our other top picks:
Zebra Energy: A new supplier offering the cheapest fixed tariff through our switching service. – Average saving – £253
Pure Planet: 100% green supplier for the tech-savvy. Everything is managed through an app. So no frustrating call centres to deal with. Average saving – £245 (exclusive to our partner energyhelpline)
Toto Energy – If you’re good at monitoring your bills and not worried about fixing your energy – Our cheapest variable tariff. – Average saving – £259
Despite this last flurry of winter tariffs we’ve decided to move on from Tariff Team. Why? Well, we want to focus on what we’re good at, and that’s free lotteries. Many of you will be aware that other collective switching services exist, and they have people behind them who are as passionate about utility bills as we are about postcodes and daily prizes. Tariff Team will be taken over by our partner energyhelpline, so if you’ve signed up, they will be in touch when new collective switches come around.
We will, of course, continue to champion collective switching, but will leave it to the experts and let you know about collective switching opportunities.
Cheers!
Chris
