No, I’m not asking you to bad-mouth Brenda the curtain twitcher across the road or Jim next door who plays his 80s records too loud. I’m talking about those suggestive street names that raise a titter among even the most mature of us.
The residents of Butt Hole Road in Conisbrough, South Yorkshire got so fed up of people making gags about their street name and having photos taken with their bare backsides out next to it that they decided to club together to pay £300 for it to be changed to Archers Way, referring to the medieval castle half a mile away.

We are regularly asked if we want more and better adverts but I'm afraid today's offering is completely OTT. It takes up 2 whole screens of my phone and makes it impossible to scroll through the Stackpot results without opening the advert for a new X Box game. In addition to this it is very difficult to get out of this screen. If this a sample of what we can expect in the future then I for one will not bother checking my post code in future so you can take it off your membership list.
I realise everything is free but there is a point where avarice spoils the original concept.
