Sad Face but Money-Mouth Face – Win £2,500 on NYD!

By

chrisIt is with a Sad Face that we’ve had to close one of our sister sites, but it is with a Party Popper that we can announce that the unclaimed amount of £2,725 will be given away on 1st of January 2025, on PMP. Yes, here.

Freemojilottery.com. FML, was a genius idea. So smart that someone else* launched the same idea on the exact same day back in 2016. On World Emoji Day. Both sites asked you to choose five Emojis as an Emoji Name, which would then go into a free daily draw. Familiar right? Sadly, neither of the sites took off, and like them, we’ve shut ours down. We confess, we could have given it (a lot) more Red Heart, but we were too busy with PMP, which is still going as Flexed Biceps as ever.

This is how it’s going to work… Bear with me (Exploding Head). Every day you visit PMP in December earns you 1 entry.  On the morning of 1st Jan we’ll randomly select 10 people based on those entries. If that’s you, you’ll be asked to complete a claim form. One of those claimants will be randomly chosen to win £2,500, while the others get £25. Your chances to be selected as one of the ten is proportional to the number of entries you have. Oh, and if you were a member of Freemoji, we’ll double your entries. You can check how many entries you have here. That’s it, I think.

We’d like to thank all 255,990 Freemoji members for joining us, with a special congratulations to the 729 winners who shared $58,920 in prizes.

Who knows, maybe one day we’ll resurrect the idea on PMP. As always, good luck!

Waving Hand Chris and Team PMP

* Genuinely, the near identical site was launched by a couple of (lovely) lads in Leeds. Another fun fact, one of my favourite House DJs from the 90s was involved.

  • […] Sad Face but Money-Mouth Face; Win £2,500 on NYD! […]

  • Congratulations to Elizabeth B on your great win and your recent marriage.

  • We were waiting to see if the main £2.5k winner will send in a photo. But a blog about the winners will be posted today without a photo of the main winner. Having asked her twice, we're not waiting anymore.

  • 10 names / emails were selected yesterday. They were emailed yesterday (2nd Jan) and had until midday today (3rd) to fill in a claim form. Then from those who did, a further draw was taken to select the main £2.5k winner. I paid those who did this afternoon (again, 3rd). 3 people failed to fill in the form to complete a claim.

Those who granted permission will be written into a further blog.

Chris asked me to try to persuade the £2.5k winning claimamt to send in a photo. So we might need to wait until next week to publish that.

    • Right now we are waiting to see if the main £2.5k winner will send in a photo for us to use. As I only asked one working day ago, I am leaving it for today. I might email her again tomorrow to see if she has made a decision.

We would prefer to include a photo in the winners blog to make it more personable.

    • We can’t announce the 10 winners without their consent to share their names publicly. So it might take a while for us to obtain that permission and could be some time before we can make the announcement. Those who grant permission will be written into a blog.

    • who were the winners?

    • Congratulations to the winners!

I would be happy to fill in one of the claim forms that wasn't returned to you!

  • As yesterday was a bank holiday, it will get drawn today. Winners will be emailed today (2nd Jan) at midday.

  • Who won?

    • As yesterday was a bank holiday, it will get drawn today. Bank holidays weren't considered when this was written, I believe.

Winners will be emailed today (2nd Jan) at midday.

  • HAPPY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

    • And to you all as well.

  • Happy Christmas and New Year to all

    • Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you too.

  • Shame about Freemoji, I used to love checking the random emojis for mine. Good luck to all for the draw on NYD x

  • I'm wishing you a happy Xmas now, and fingers crossed for New year.

  • A door closes and a new one may well open, better and more successful.

  • My fingers are crossed

  • Not quite sure what this means for me but I will be checking in as usual every day so 🤞🏼

I will be collecting some lucky draws in this new venture if that’s what it is called!..😂🎅🏻😂

    • Thankyou Kindly HAVE A HAPPY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

    • Just keep checking PMP throughout December to earn an entry each day, and on 1st Jan we'll randomly select 10 people. If one of them is you, you'll be asked to complete the claim form. One of these 10 people will be randomly chosen to win £2, 500 and the others £25.

  • Sorry about this

  • So sad but life still goes on

  • I'll miss Freemoji lottery, it's the only one I've managed to win on so far 😅 even managed to get in early and get a good set of emojis! (💀💀💀💀💀)

  • The only thing that this blog doesn't specify is that the randomly chosen winners will have until noon / midday on 2nd January 2025 to fill in the claim form.

  • I was hoping to win the last FML to donate half to Ukraine. But I'll keep my fingers crossed to be the winner!

    • You would still be able to donate half the winnings yourself if you were to win the money on here. Or we also offer Double and Donate, so if someone was feeling really generous, they could choose to donate all the winnings to the registered charity of their choice and we would double it.
