Scammer Pretending to be Chris

Hi,

We hope you all had a great May Day Bank Holiday.
Sadly, someone used the opportunity of knowing we wouldn’t be staffed over the holiday to steal Chris’ personal photos from his twitter in order to scam people into thinking they have won.

The account and the message the scammer is posting is in the screenshots below:

 

Please don’t put any of your information into the form he is pushing you towards! We have already reported the profile to Facebook, but are unsure if they will do anything about it. If you see it please report it too.

We never ask for payment or credit card details for our prize draws. So if you have filled out this form please notify your bank ASAP.

  • Naughty, i thought i had won.

    • As we get our money from the advertising, we do not inform anyone when they win or nobody would check the site. We require our members to check the draws on our site to build up the ad revenue which pays for the free prize draw amounts. There are daily reminder emails to remind you to check and see if you are a winner.

      Sorry if the scammer got your hopes up.

  • I got a message yesterday regards a comment i made in December 2022, has pick my postcodes security been breached for this to happen

    • I have received a message tonight saying they have something for me waiting on a pick my post comment made several yrs ago sending a link to go to using your name asking for info. I have reported them, but FB are doing nothing!

We are completely free for our members as we get our money from advertising. We would never ask for any bank or card details. If you gave away anything, please contact your bank for help.

  • I got it too. Was immediately sceptical due to spelling/grammar errors so looked on here straight away and saw Chris' warning about it. Thank you Chris! I've reported and blocked them.
