Emma & Simon’s Wedding

Emma & Simon finally had their wedding day and PMP celebrated with them!

Many of you, our wonderful PMP community, have kindly supported Simon & I from afar, as we battled our way through 2023 together. So many people sent messages of encouragement during our cancer journey and this blog is a thank you from me, Em, to every one of you.

The day before our 1st wedding anniversary, we finally had the wedding we dreamed of. 21st December 2023 at Balmer Lawn in The New Forest. There was too much of a gale to get many pictures outside, but our photographer found a perfect spot for our couples photos, which we did before the guests arrived so as to spend as much time with our loved ones as possible.

After a beautiful ceremony, we had a few extra visitors to entertain our guests while we waited for the wedding breakfast.

Everyone loved them so much we almost forgot to do family photos, thank goodness our photographer was on the ball. The wind had died down enough for us to quickly pop outside.

Then the day was ended with a fun casino, plenty of dancing and having a laugh in the photobooth where the attending PMP team obliged me with a PMP group photo. (Left to right, Ken, Jack & Chris)
