FPL needs to promote stuff to make money. We go out of our way to only advertise good stuff, but sometimes we’re lucky enough to get paid to promote stuff that we love. Pact Coffee is one of them, but I’ve also fallen in love with my weekly snack fix from Graze. Here’s why.
I signed up to Graze to test it out for our Bonus page. By default a box containing four snack “punnets” and costing £3.99 is sent every week, but you can change the arrival day and the frequency to fortnightly if you wish. You are given a choice between the following types of boxes:
- Light: All under 150 calories
- Chocolate: Inventive snacks balancing chocolate and wholesome ingredients
- Protein: High in, well, protein
- Flapjack: A range of rustic flapjacks, handmade to a family recipe (apparently).
- Variety: A mix from the above
I opted for the Protein boxes since I’m attempting a low carb diet (though basically failing). At first, I was a little underwhelmed because it seemed a bit like snack roulette. However, things totally changed when I logged on to the Graze website and realised you could actually customise your snack selection. Duh! So, I marked all the stuff I “liked” and all the stuff I “loved”, opted to “try” the stuff I thought I might like, and put the rest in the bin. Even if you like everything, it’s still worth logging on as some of the more experimental snacks are turned off by default. I found some beef jerky and vietnamese pho soup (which requires the addition of boiling water, of course). On top of this, you can select any number of dietary requirements to make sure you don’t get anything disagreeable or insufficiently free-from. Finally, if you’re counting calories or trying to eat more fibre you can keep on top of all nutritional information (fat, carbohydrates, protein, salt, etc.) and ingredients.
Anyway, I’m pretty chuffed that we starting promoting Graze since I now get weekly boxes of really delicious snacks, high in protein, low in carbs and just what I like. And it’s genuinely really handy to have a (relatively) healthy and filling snack to grab when I’m struggling to make it to dinner, and crucially, it stops me buying junk food! I understand that £3.99 per week is a lot for some of you, but I think it’s worth it. If you’re still not convinced you can try a box for free before they start taking any money, and, as always we’re offering £1.50 Bonus when you sign up via FPL.
