You spoke, so we listened. You said the site was slow so we’ve rebuilt it from scratch to make it much faster. You said the site was messy and confusing so we’ve made some design improvements to help you move around more quickly. Are you pleased? Well… Not everyone!

We know that site “refreshes” are generally not popular but the site was still the same one that I personally built 6 years ago, and it has been creaking at the seams for some time. Something needed to be done, particularly as more and more of you were complaining about the sluggishness.

We’ve kept the design improvements to a minimum. Most notable is the new draw menu on mobile. Rather than trying to slide through the “Step-tracker” we have introduced an expandable menu that lays the different draws, and prize pots, much more clearly. We’ve also removed a lot of clutter, including moving the old blog articles off of the Main Draw.

We’ve had some nice feedback so far:

“Great, fast, clear, perfect. Well done.”
“Like the new layout and loads like lightening!”
“Love the new look – much more user friendly on an iPhone”

Of course, not everyone has reacted so positively:

“Omg it’s like we’ve gone back to the 90’s big pixel graph… horrid blurgh!!”
“I don’t think I like this new look much, I personally find it harder on the eyes.”
“Who designed this new layout? Stevie Wonder? It’s faster, but all those bold fonts are horrible.”

OK. Can’t please everyone, but overall, we’re claiming a victory 🙂
