Janet from Fareham won an impressive £150 on our Video Draw last week. Alongside the bonus she’s steadily built over the years she won an amazing £404.54. But instead of keeping the prize for herself, she chose to make a difference by using our Double & Donate scheme.
Janet selected Cancer Research as her chosen cause, meaning her £404.54 donation was matched to create a total of £809.02 for the charity. Cancer Research UK is the world’s largest cancer charity, carrying out research into more than 200 types of cancer.
Chris started the Double or Donate scheme in 2013, which allows members to donate to a charity of their choosing and we will match the winnings so that the charity recieves double the money. Since this launches we’ve given away a total of £34,607.27 to various charities!
