Want to try increase your odds of winning on Pick My Postcode? A question that we are frequently asked is “what are the odds of winning on Pick My Postcode”, so we thought we’d suggest some of the things you can do to make sure you’re getting every chance possible of us picking your postcode.
Are you checking every draw?
We have 9 different draws, which are drawn at different times throughout the day, so it can be hard to make sure you’ve checked them all. Your postcode could appear in one or multiple of the draws each day, so to make sure you increase your chances of claiming your win you have to check them all.
We recently had a very lucky winner who won both the Video Draw and one of the Stackpot’s on the same day. Charlotte, a 32 year-old from Devon won £10 Stackpot, £50 video draw plus her £7.92 bonus which was added to both sets of winnings, she walked away with £75.84. So it’s definitely possible and important to keep checking the rest of the draws even if your postcode comes up in one of the early ones.
This is visible on the homepage of the website and is currently £200. The prize rolls over every day if it’s not claimed. If there are multiple winners for the draw then the prize is split over the number of winners that claim. The draw takes place at midday every day and you have until the next draw (midday the next day) to claim. You get 1p bonus for each day you visit this page. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount.
The postcode will appear after you watch the video displayed on the page. The prize is currently £50 and rolls over every day it is not claimed. If there are multiple winners for the draw then the prize is split over the number who claim. The draw takes place at midday every day and you have until the next draw (midday the next day) to claim. You get 1p bonus for each day you visit this page. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount.
You’ll find this on the survey draw page and is for £50 a day. The prize rolls over every day that it’s not claimed. Some days you’ll have to answer a survey to see the postcode, others you’ll see the postcode straightaway. If there are multiple winners for the draw then the prize is split over the number who claim. The draw takes place at midday every day and you have until the next draw (midday the next day) to claim. You get 1p bonus for each day you visit this page. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount
The stackpot prizes are £10 for each postcode. The stackpot is drawn at 9am and 9pm every day and you have until the next draw to claim. Only one person can claim per postcode so if there are multiple entries for one postcode it’s first-come-first-served. Three postcodes get randomly drawn for the Stackpot each time a draw takes place. If you see more than three postcodes, this means that not all of the stackpots have been claimed from the previous draws. The unclaimed ones roll over and three more are added if this happens. This means that the number of stackpots can fluctuate depending on how many claims there have been. The stackpot page has more information about how it works. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount.
There are three bonus draws; the first is only available to those with a bonus of £5 or more, the second for those with a Bonus of £10 or more the third for those with a bonus of £20 or more. They happen at noon, are £5, £10 & £20 respectively and roll over when they are not claimed. If there are multiple winners for the draw then the prize is split over the number who claim. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount. If you’re looking for more chances to win, you can build your bonus by checking the draws, doing surveys and offers, and also by referring friends; and once you have £5, £10 & £20 respectively you will be entered into those draws.
Flash Fivers –
The £5 Flash Draw appears randomly in the existing ad slots around the site. There is no special place you need to go to find them, they can appear anywhere! They appear to individual users randomly – not to everyone browsing the site. Clicking normal ads does not help the winning ones appear. Constantly refreshing pages does not help the winning ads appear. For now at least, Bonus won’t be added to winnings.
Mini Draw-
The mini draw is a sneaky draw visible at the bottom of any page on the site between 6pm and 2am. The prize is £100 and doesn’t roll over, and only one person registered with the winning postcode can claim so it’s first-come-first-served. If you win, your bonus amount is always added to the prize amount.
Are you referring neighbours?
Each member’s entry has the exact same chance of being selected in a draw. But if one postcode is entered more than once (eg. by multiple neighbours) it is more likely to be selected (like names in a hat). So by telling your neighbors to sign up your odds of being picked increase, as long as their accounts are active. If you want to help boost your bonus too you can refer them as a friend. Send them your unique referral code. Copy and paste this into a text, email, on social media, via any form of communication that works for you, and then when people click on this link and register an account it’ll be automatically clocked as a referral.
You will receive an additional 1p per day bonus for every day that those people check the site up to20p per person. You will however lose any referral bonus accrued if any of those people delete their account. You can earn a maximum of £200 bonus through referrals.
Do you have reminders turned on?
Don’t want to miss a draw? Make sure your reminders are turned on to keep your chances of remembering to check high. You can check if you have this set up in the Notification section in your account. If you don’t want to have reminders turned on, you can set up your own calendar reminder or alarm on your phone. We also have a WhatsApp Channel that sends out a reminder to check the draws too. So don’t let forgetting be what stops you from winning.
Have you referred anyone for Golden Postcodes?
Our Golden Postcodes referral scheme is still active. And while it doesn’t affect your chances of winning the draws, it does give you the chance to win £10 on the spot if you refer someone who lives at a golden postcode. So far 469 Golden Postcodes have been found, which means there’s still over 99,000 left to find!
Have you checked the Survey Draw again?
Maybe you should double check the survey draw every now and then, because we occasionally give away money on there other than the daily winning postcode. We sometimes ask questions, and then randomly select one correct response to the question to win some money.
A previous example of this is when we asked people to name a well-known person or character whose surname is an adverb. We randomly selected one person who submitted a correct answer to win £50. Our lucky winner was Bryan from Lancashire, with his answer George Gently.
So keep an eye out for £50 Quiz Questions on Survey Draw, because we want to continue giving away surprise winnings to our dedicated members who answer our questions.

Hopefully some of these tips help increase your odds of winnings, and help you get the most out of the draws. We wish you all good luck for future draws.
